Thornville Masonic Lodge Blog

Thornville Masonic Lodge, by order of the Master and consent of the lodge will not be going "Dark" during the months of July and August. You are encouraged to attend. The dress for the meetings in July and August will be "Business Casual". Dinner will be served at 6:30pm, Meeting at 7:30pm.

We are currently working on a new candidate and we should be conferring the EA Degree in the coming months.

Also, the Thornville Masonic Lodge will be participating in the Thornville 4th of July Celebration Parade on Friday July 4th and 11:00am. A vehicle and trailer will be provided so that none of the members will have to walk. The Master and officers would like to see a large turn out for this event, so that we can show our support for the community and show the community that Thornville Masonic Lodge is alive and well.

We will also have a food booth at the Thorn Dunker after the parade and will be serving Pulled Pork BBQ, Cole Slaw, Chips and Pop or Gatorade. We currently need more brethren to help with this project. If you are able to help, please contact Bro. Ed Corns at 740-258-5083

Thornville Masonic Lodge #521 will be holding it's annual Friendship Night on Saturday April 26, 2008 @ 5:30p.m. @ the Thornville Masonic Lodge located at 44 E. Columbus St. Thornville.

All Masons are encouraged to attend and bring with them a few good men that they think Masonry can make better.

Greetings Brethren and Friends:

Our Annual Inspection is now past us and let me first say wheeew . What a great night , it was a complete success with 27 Thornville members present and 101 total in attendance. WOW thats a houseful. We fielded the craft team from our own brethren and conferred the Degree on our newest Master Mason Bro. John Ulmer . Congratulations Bro Ulmer and welcome . Dinner was served by the Thornville Chapter of the O.E.S. A big thank you is warranted to Wor Bro Fred White for getting the craft team out . Your tireless phone calling and hard work pay off  THANK YOU .Also a big thanks to all who came out and participated it was so good to see that many Thornville Brethren in Lodge Thank You one and all. It is my hopes to use the craft team yet again this year and to improve upon what we have started and be ready for our next M.M.

Also Brethren on Jan.26th 12 Brethren from Thornville #521 travel to Somerset Lodge #76 for there Inspection in the F.C. degree. We saw good work from our Somerset brothers and won the Traveling Award. Good Job Brethren ,what a proud moment .I hope we can win one or two more this year .

Brethren we have a good momentum rolling along at our Lodge and I hope you will join me and the Officers of our Lodge to Keep this rolling along . I appeal to you to come join us and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of this Great Fraternity.

Thornville Masonic Lodge will be holding there annual Lodge Inspection on Saturday February 2, 2008 at the Thornville Masonic Lodge located at 44 East Columbus Street Thornville, Ohio.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and will be provided by the Thornville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. The inspection will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and the lodge will be inspected in the Master Mason Degree.

Please endeavor to attend the inspection and show your support for the brethren of Thornville Lodge.
