Installation of 2011 Officers
At the December stated meeting held on December 20th, the installation of officers was performed. The installation team consisted of DDGM Right Worshipful Brother Steven W. Norton, Installing Officer; PDDGM Right Worshipful Brother Dennis R. Kessler, Installing Marshal; PGM Most Worshipful Brother Ronald L. Winnett, Installing Chaplin; DEO Worshipful Brother Craig T. Collins, Installing Secretary. The following brethren were installed: Worshipful Brother Fred White, Worshipful Master; Worshipful Brother Clark Cook, Junior Warden; Right Worshipful Brother Ross Barry, Secretary; Brother Wayne Wilson, Treasurer; Worshipful Brother Bob Keefe, Chaplin; Worshipful Brother Michael Schmidt, Senior Deacon; Worshipful Brother John Skinner, Junior Deacon.
Announcement:
At the lodge's annual stated meeting, a motion was made, seconded and passed that the lodge start the proceedure to combine Thornville Lodge #521 with Alturas Lodge #537 under a new charter and a new name. The motion included the provision that the location of the new lodge to be at Altura's existing lodge building outside of Millersport, Ohio. You are encouraged to attend lodge in the coming months and have your voice heard. A letter will be sent out to the brethren from the secretary shortly as required by Grand Lodge rules.

Tri-District Inspection - Zanesville Ohio
In 2009, several lodges in the 13th, 18th and 19th Districts decided to get together and have an inspection together. It was scheduled for January 9, 2010 at Zanesville.
During the day, approximately 150 brethren of the three Districts attended. It was also attended by MWB Jack Allen, RWB Ralph Crossan, RWB Easterling, RWB Cokonougher, RWB Pelfrey and RWB Koss, as well as all DDGMs and DEOs of the 13th, 18th and 19th Districts.
Registration began at 7:30am and the Degree work concluded at about 3:30pm. The EA Degree was portrayed by Jackson #85 (WM Danny Dennison; Inspecting Officer RWB Tom Rogers and DEO John Patrick). The FC Degree was portrayed by Thornville # 521 (WM George H. Fowler Jr; DDGM Steven Norton and DEO Craig Collins); and the MM Degree was portrayed by Muskingum #368 (WM Michael Collard; DDGM Jeffrey Gallaher and DEO Leon Lauer).
All degrees were well-done and the candidates received a fine degree.
